To the Freeman Foundation:
As a recipient of the 2022-2023 Freeman scholarship, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for allowing me to pursue my study abroad program in South Korea. This enables students such as myself to take advantage of the valuable opportunity to explore a world outside of Hawai’i. I feel incredibly fortunate to receive this scholarship. From your support, I gained a once-in-a-lifetime experience of living overseas, which will not only broaden my horizons as a prospective business professional but also encourage my personal development.

One of the key reasons I chose UH Mānoa for college was the opportunity of studying abroad. Thank you Clare and Kathy for assisting me with my academic plan and guiding me through the process. The most challenging aspect of planning was thinking long-term, so I value all the guidance and assistance I have received to make both studying abroad and ensuring my plan for graduation achievable.
